Elderly Care Facility Regains Public Composure through Wireless Security Systems

Filed under: security — admin @ 9:31 am

We have seen one of the worst scandals in the name of US healthcare provision. The video shows an elderly being taken into the emergency room and is left unattended to after over ten hours. She collapses to the floor, and hospital staff chose to ignore her. Later did they know that it was already a heart attack and the late administration of medical help claimed this old lady’s life – right when she was already in the hospital. What’s the worst that can happen? Well it just did, in the least place expected. The woman was already there getting help.

Inline with this widely publicized video, we decided to increase our safety and protection from within the elderly care facility by upgrading our security camera systems from the ordinary surveillance system that we have had for over eight years. We made sure that the families of our patients knew about these system upgrades so we could reassure them of our facility administration’s vigilance against staff misdemeanor, malpractice and safety hazards.

When asked about our intentions to increase our safety and protection from beyond the facility, we have likewise upgraded our old burglar alarm systems with Wireless Security Systems in every key location in the facility. From the expert supplier of Wireless Home Security Systems, securitysystemspro.com, did we get the idea to make use of the latest technology in safety and protection that does not have to be a lucrative deal altogether.

The commitment between me and neighbor with the help DIY security systems.

I have recently hurt my back. It happened while I was taking a shower and suddenly slipped. Living alone, I went through excruciating pain to be able to make an emergency call. My next-door neighbor, who is an old lady, has a emergency button that she informed me she’ll use should she need my help. The ironic thing about my accident is that I needed help after I have agreed to offer help to my next door neighbor. Eventually, I was able to recover and immediately got myself a Home Security Systems. Having an emergency button for my house, I learned, is also essential even though I am relatively young. After all, no one would know (including myself) when an emergency situation would arise. I even asked my next-door neighbor to help me with DIY Security Systems. Also, we made together an emergency plan should anyone of us would need each other’s help in the future. On my part, I should call her regularly to check on her. I have to also keep her health record: vital signs, results of check-ups, medications, lab results, diet, etc. We also made a plan of care on intervention and management on certain crisis or unusual situation. In case either one of use would fall or slip, we should pressthe emergency button to alert the other for help. We should also keep still and calm as we wait for a response. In essence, we have committed to each other that we will be vigilant for any significant changes on security and safety that we may notice on each other. Having a home security system now, I feel that my neighbor would also be able to help me in times of emergencies as I would do to her should she need my urgent help.
