Make your own fleece dog toys to save money

Filed under: Books — admin @ 11:29 am

My dog is a ripper and I already found it unwise to buy fleece dog toys for him from the pet store since he can usually rip it apart in a day or two. I remember buying my dog two eight dollar fleece dog toys only to be surprised that it would not last long with my pet. Since that incident, I decided to make my own fleece dog toys to cut on expenses but at the same time keep my dog busy with something. Materials needed for the toy are not hard to find and actually may consist of materials that are usually no longer for use such as a few pieces of fabric and a plastic bag. All you have to do is to create a thing similar to a pocket and just stuff the materials in it and once the fabric pocket had been stuffed to the satisfaction of the pet owner, all that has to be done is to knot the fabric so that the stuffed materials would not leak or go out from the pocket fabric. Once it is done, then give it to your dog and for sure your dog would love and enjoy grabbing and ripping it apart. Make sure though that your dog would not try to ingest the materials inside the toy or the toy itself. If you’re not familiar with your dog yet or it your dog’s first time to have a fleece dog toy, make sure that you spend time observing your pet while he plays with his fleece dog toy.
